Knit & Natter

Most Tuesdays, between 10am and 12 noon, a group of us meets at the Emmanuel building in Goldney Avenue, Chippenham to knit and natter – and you’re welcome to come along as well even if you don’t go to church or attend a different church.

And what do we do? We knit, natter and drink coffee and tea!

We knit jumpers, cardigans, baby clothes and blankets – all in aid of a great cause, as the clothes and blankets we make go to impoverished people in Hungary.

Don’t worry, you don’t need to be an expert knitter, as we learn from each other. Wool, needles and patterns are also provided. It’s a very happy and relaxed atmosphere with plenty of chance to natter while we knit.

Coffee and biscuits are provided, and there is no charge, that’s right, nothing to pay!

Please note: due to high demand, we often need to run a waiting list – please contact the church office for further details and to check dates, as the group takes a break over some holidays periods.
